He’s so arrogant.
She’s so self-righteous.
I can’t stand him.
I want her.
He’s a distraction I don’t need.
She’ll say yes eventually because I’m not giving up.
Justine Porter is stuck between a rock and a stripper pole. She lost her law school scholarship, which means she has two choices to keep her life on track: strip for her tuition or tutor the most distractingly sexy guy in her class—the one she’s been turning down for two years straight. It should be an easy choice, but tutoring Ryker Grant could derail her plans to graduate with honors faster than two-for-one night at the Déjà Vu. Then again, topless has never really been her color.
She could take the easy road, just this once . . . but the deal has enough loopholes to trip anyone up.
Who knew they taught bad judgment in law school?

Holy crap was Bad Judgment addictive! I read it in about a day because it was so good. I just could not put it down. Meghan March definitely knows how to write an interesting, hot story. Justine and Ryker were amazing. I love how dedicated Justine was to school and to her dream of helping others. Ryker was hot and smart…deadly combo. Justine definitely agreed with that statement. And the two of them together almost had my kindle on fire at times. The sexual tension and the build up was great. It for sure made it a more interesting story. I always get bored when books have instalove. The build up isn’t there and can make the story drag. This book did not have that.
Bad Judgment was about Justine, a student in her last year of law school, who found herself without her scholarship and forced to find an alternative method to pay for it. It was also about Ryker, a fellow law school student, but unlike Justine, Ryker didn’t need a scholarship to attend school. Since being in law school, Ryker consistently pursued Justine but she always shot him down due to school and work and not being interesting no matter how good looking he was. Without her scholarship, Justine was forced to make some hard decisions about how to pay for school. From there, the story really began.
This was a fast read that just kept going. I felt like I just kept wanting to read until it was over. Even without the great chemistry between the characters, the story was interesting enough on its own. It kept me curious and awake late at night reading so I could finish. I had questions I wanted answered and I wanted to see how everything played out. I won’t say how it did play out but I will say I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome.
I will say this book was probably a lighter read than Meghan’s other books. I haven’t read all of the Beneath series but I have read Flash Bang and the Dirty Billionaire books and this one was a much lighter book to read and I liked that. Ryker still had some alpha male tendencies but Justine was such a strong personality that she could hold her own so it kind of toned down Ryker. And I like a strong female character so Justine was awesome. I always hate it when the woman just does what the man says and that was definitely not Justine. Ryker even mentioned how he wished she wasn’t so stubborn. A girl after my own heart. Plus, the characters rarely did things that annoyed me. There seems to always be a point where the main characters make bad decisions that blow up in their face, but this book didn’t really have them. There was some iffy moments in there but generally, the characters didn’t annoy me with their decision making skills or how they handled themselves. Sure there has to be some drama but what story doesn’t have drama. That would make a boring story and this book is not boring in the least.
And wow does Meghan know how to write the sexy stuff ;). If you’ve read her other books you know she brings the steam and there was loads of it in this one. It wasn’t too much to distract from the story, but just enough to show how hot Justine and Ryker were together. Besides between the sheets, these two made a great team and I loved seeing them interact. Their back and forth, especially when Justine was turning Ryker down, was pretty great. I always love it when a strong female character can go head to head with a cocky guy like Ryker.
Overall, Bad Judgment was a great read! I highly recommend you pick this one up. Once you start it, you won’t have any objections ;).
