Best friends since they could walk. In love since the age of fourteen. Complete strangers since this morning.

*I received an eARC from the authors in exchange for an honest review*
This review is highly likely to be short and sweet because there is so much of Never Never that you have to discover for yourself. If I told you too much about it then that could spoil it for you. It’s one of those books that you just need to read. It’s as simple as that.
OK, the first thing I have to say is that I knew going in to Never Never that it ended on a cliffhanger, Colleen and Tarryn have made no secret of that, but even still…OMG THAT ENDING!! I NEED the next part of Charlie and Silas’ story NOW! After I’d finished reading, I closed my kindle up and just sat there thinking “What have I just read?! I need more!”
I have read all of Colleen Hoover’s books and I’ve read Tarryn Fisher’s Mud Vein. Never Never was completely different to Mud Vein and it was also different to Colleen’s usual style in that it wasn’t a straight up romance with issues. This is so different that I’m not even sure what genre it would fall in to and, actually, who cares? Not me! The only thing that I was focused on was reading this really good story that had me hooked from the first page. I was supposed to be studying on Tuesday when I started it but I peeked at my kindle when I was taking a break and read the first couple of chapters. Well, that was it for me…I. WAS. SUCKED. IN…and then I had to wait until after my kids had gone to bed to read the rest. That was torture, but so worth it.
I loved the writing styles of each author.
I loved how their individual writing styles worked so well together.
I loved the unique story.
I liked Charlie
I LOVED Silas!
I also love the fact that Never Never started off as a fun not-to-be-published project between the two authors but I love even more that they decided to continue it and let the world read it. Good decision, ladies!
I do not love the fact that I now have to wait to find out what happens next!
Mark this one on you calendars for 11th January. You’re going to want to read it!
8TH JANUARY UPDATE
NEVER NEVER IS LIVE ON AMAZON EARLY!!
I just have one stand-out favourite quote from Never Never. You have to read it in context once you have the book but it made me snort laugh…a lot!
“Lucky for you, I’m not Monopoly Silas anymore. I’m Tetris Silas. All of my pieces and parts are going to fit in to all of your pieces and parts.”
