Five years ago, my dreams were shattered in an instant. One year ago, a horrible rainstorm flooded a bridge in town, leaving us with an Inn full of stranded travelers. Turns out one of those travelers would give me a whole new set of dreams, ones I never thought possible. Brody Murphy spent the last year teaching me what it was like to live, and more importantly love, again. Two days ago, he asked me to marry him, and if I’d said yes any faster, I would have interrupted the most romantic proposal ever offered. I can’t wait to marry him and spend the rest of our lives spoiling our Twinkies. One year from now I’ll be Mrs. Kacie Murphy, assuming everything goes nice and smooth.

Tomorrow I’m marrying the girl of my dreams. I take that back. I’m marrying the girl of every man’s dreams. I’m just the lucky bastard that tricked her into picking him.
I LOVE Brody Murphy, I mean, if ever there was the perfect book boyfriend then it has to be him. He doesn’t mess around, he’s no player that’s for sure, he’s hot as hell, Ice Hockey player extraordinaire, and generous to a fault. He’s kind, patient, loving, and great with kids, AND even though he hates them, he will kill all the spiders for you too. What’s not to love?!
“I hate spiders too.” Brody smiled sweetly at her as he grazed her cheek with the back of his fingers. “But I promise to always kill all the spiders for you.”
I knew that this book was going to be about Brody and Kacie’s wedding, but I wasn’t sure where the story would start. Would it be at the wedding? How much of the preparation would we see? Well, it starts the day after Brody’s ever so romantic proposal at the end of Room For More, and we get to see the run up to the wedding over the coming months.
There is so much packed into this novella, you certainly won’t be disappointed. I loved everything about it. How they decided on the venue, shopping for the dress, planning the honeymoon (lucky Kacie *wink wink*) and of course when Brody is involved you know there’s going to be a surprise or two. All I will say is be prepared to have a few tears. Well maybe more than a few. There were so many touching moments that left me bawling like a baby! Brody and Kacie, Brody and the twinkies, Kacie and Fred – Beth Ehemann certainly knows how to pull at the heart-strings. The wedding vows were just perfect, I absolutely loved how they were pronounced husband and wife!
I don’t think that there is anything that could have made this book any better, it was everything I was expecting. Beth certainly gave the Murphy clan the perfect send off, although I do hope that this isn’t the last we see of them because I’ve grown rather attached to them all.
