REVIEWED BY LIZ
This was my first experience discovering Ms. Baggot’s world. This novel was beautifully written, and had such a hold on me from the first page to the very last. The book cover is simply elegant.
Emma Barron was going through a devastating time in her life. Her world was in complete disarray. This darkness she felt, seemed like it would never leave. Until her world collided with Guy Duval. The year was 2005. The day that changed her course of life was September 5th.
EMMA BARRON (Kate Hudson)
Fast-forward eight years. Emma is content, has a beautiful son, and a great career. Her boyfriend Chris worships the ground she walks on. He wants to grow old with her. But Emma just cannot shake the feeling that has stirred within her for several years, the one guy who stole her heart and never gave it back . . . Guy Duval.
Eight years wasn’t a long time, and when you’ve bared your soul to someone, you never forget. You cling on to every memory you’ve ever made with them
Guy Duval is a successful footballer, financially set, and in a relationship that keeps him at bay. It’s just not enough and deep down, he feels a huge loss, his first true love… Emma.
GUY DUVAL (Cristiano Ronaldo –Soccer Player)
As they made contact a spark crackled in the place his heart had vacated long ago. He felt like he was holding a live wire. Her whole body buzzed with electrical current. Their paths cross, Guy and Emma’s lives take an unexpected turn. Both have deep seeded secrets. They both are haunted by their pasts that it will either pull them closer or tear them apart. Happiness is all they strived for.. would it be their reality or dooms day for them?
This is a romance with so many intriguing twists and turns. Your heart will beat so fast – out of your chest moments. You will catch yourself immersed completely, that in one minute you’ll be on the side lines cheering, the next completely breaking down with emotion.
To answer Ms. Baggot’s question (in the title), I’ll remember this story for eternity.. It’s. Unforgettable!!
His words banged against her soul like a door being thrown open.
Time had gone by but you . . . don’t erase people you’ve been intimate with as easily as that. Especially someone you had planned a future with.
