OK, this is probably going to be a really gushy post but at least I warned you first 🙂
Charles Sheehan-Miles has fast become one of my favourite authors for gritty, real, raw, thought-provoking, heartbreaking stories.
I absolutely LOVED A Song for Julia and Just Remember to Breathe and now, The Last Hour is no different.
The Last Hour was just released on 17th April and has already got lots of rave reviews on Goodreads.
I am only just about halfway through at the moment and already I have laughed, cried, and felt so helpless on behalf of the characters.
I WANT and NEED to know what happens next, I want to tear through it to get to the end BUT I CAN’T.
The Last Hour needs to be read slowly, it needs to be savoured. You need to allow yourself time to fully appreciate and understand all that’s going on, and to feel the emotion of it all.
If you haven’t downloaded it yet you HAVE to! I’m going to need to talk to someone about it!
