And I’m Back!

August 19, 2012 Me! 6

Yay! Here I am, back in the land of internet connections and laptops! Feels sooo good to just be able to fire up my laptop and have an immediate connection to my blog and twitter! I’ve missed so much this past week and I haven’t even been all that far away.

I have read some great books on holiday, two of which were Seduction and Snacks by Tara Sivec and The Fault In Our Stars by John Green.

My review of Seduction and Snacks will be up in a week or so but I have decided I just cannot get the right words together to properly review The Fault In Our Stars. All I can say is that I LOVED it. It’s such a beautiful, heartbreaking story of first love in the worst of situations, but it’s also got its share of funny moments too. You should definitely read it if you haven’t already.

What have you all been reading this past week? I’d love to know if you have any recommendations for me.

Welcome back to the internet!! I just finished reading Scary Mary by SA Hunter on my Kindle App & finished a paperback of Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill =) Review of them both on my Goodreads =) I’ve now started The Cure by MC Foley on my Kindle App & I’m reading The Dark & Hollow Places by Carrie Ryan in paperback =) x

Haha, thanks! Was Scary Mary good? I downloaded it a month or so ago when it was free on Amazon but haven’t got around to reading it yet.

I didn’t really like it to be honest. It’s okay just not great =( I got it for free on Amazon as well =) I don’t think I’ll continue with the Scary Mary series which sucks because I really wanted to like it! x

I have to agree with you about The Fault in Our Stars. There really are no words. Beautiful, beautiful book.

I know! I have Looking for Alaska waiting to be read soon. I’m looking forward to it now that I’ve read The Fault in Our Stars.

Looking for Alaska was amazing as well. Different, but still incredible. Cried at the end of that one, too.
