I have decided to “break the rules” a little this week! Not only am I going to include 2 books, because I’m reading 2 and couldn’t pick which one to use, I’m also going to include a paragraph extract from each of them.  Naughty me!

Anna and the French Kiss

My first teaser is from page 106 of Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. I know lots of people have already read this but I couldn’t resist including it.

“I glance at his hands. Mine are tiny compared to his large, knuckly boy hands. And suddenly I want to touch him. Not a puch or a shove, or even a friendly hug. I want to feel the creases in his skin, connect his freckles with invisible lines, brush my fingers across the inside of his wrist. He shifts. I have the strangest feeling that he’s as aware of me as I am of him. I can’t concentrate”.

Ooooh, I just love this soo much! If you haven’t read it you really should!

Spill Over

My second teaser is from the 20% mark of  the Kindle copy of Spill Over by Jolene Perry.

“I grab my hair with my hands and wish I could push or pull or scream loud enough to make everything different. Make everything change. Instead I push it down. Push my tears back. I start to lock it all up. I can hold it in. Hold it back. I’ll just have to push harder, work harder”.

Oh, you have to read this book.  I love, love, love Jolene Perry’s work and this book is no different to all her others – AMAZING!

What’s your teaser for this week?  Leave your blog link below so I can take a look.  Alternatively leave your teaser as a comment.

  1. Jolene Perry

“That butterfly keeps banging around inside at the mention of his name. Stupid insect”

Fixing Delilah by Sarah Ockler – I LOVE this book. Am re-reading

Also – my FAVORITE thing is when people pick a quote from one of my books to share, b/c I remember them all, and it’s fascinating to me to see what stuck out to people.

When you’re reading an ebook (like I am with Spill Over) it’s hard to “open at a random page” and pick a teaser. With Spill Over I’m not too far in to it so I went back and picked that quote as I have experienced what Antony is going through and it stayed with me when I read it. Thank you for writing such amazing books 🙂

      Thanks for your teaser, too!
